I've had this ivy in the garden for 10 years but only noticed the leaf structure recently. I think we often look but don't really see, it would be information overload otherwise. Turning that off takes a conscious effort.

Ivy leaves are lovely things. Fine study. Reminds me of the guy who took cabbage leaves, mushrooms and peppers...Edward Weston I think.

Thanks Gray. Yes it was Edward, I discovered him after I took the picture. Now I have to be careful not to use one of his subjects!
