A few dimensions.
The scale of the sensor size to the size of a single full- frame (A5) print works out at 1:6.33.
(Sensor= 23.7 x 15.7, the print is 150 x 99.5, scale of print to life-size = 1:6.33.)
This applied to some measurements on the print of the fly's features gives life-size dimensions of:
Length of tongue, 0.66mm.
Height of the eye, 1.02mm.
Gap between eyes, 0.62mm.
Width, overall of eyes, 1.75mm.

Flies are both horrible and fascinating at the same time. This photo demonstrates both aspects. They are so utterly alien despite being commonplace.
