Nice framing. The previous shot was nice as well - but I prefer this one!
BTW you seem to have 3 or 4 dust spots on your sensor

Both are great shots. I like that I can now see the further tree's quirky angle. It's like it's got it's 'Head' on it's shoulder and looking quizically at the old tattered one. Like a child looking at an interesting older person.

Thanks for the comments.

I passed this tree, nearly rotted away, as I hurried to meet up with a group of DofE young people on their expedition in the New Forest. I just had to try and capture the ideas it gave me.

I did catch up with the group as well.
