Too cold

by AxelLuther

..... a little fellow that became a victim of the Siberian temperatures the last two weeks (the way to the next shelter was obviously too long).
Actually – the cold period seems to be over – the temperature raised 12° yesterday.

Dramatic picture, but it happens every day in the wild.

yep - this is how it must be - selecting the fittest (or perhaps the smartest - not so smart for a mouse to leave shelter and run over a frozen lake fully uncovered, exposed and this at -15°). However - seeing it is always a tiny bit sad.

Sad Ok! But it reminds me of Principle of Handicap from Prof.Zahawi(1975).In a wide sense....

A sorrowful but truthful depiction beautifully captured.
