The Rhubarb Patch

Chastleton House, Oxon.
An amazing Jacobean manor house little changed since the 17th century and not over-restored by the National Trust.

My point exactly, Andrew
I had the good fortune to live in spitting distance of Chastleton (Chipping Norton) between 1987 and 1993. We got out just before is started to go 'pear-shaped' with the arrival of Clarkson and the other members of the 'Chipping Norton' set

Ha! We were musing about the possibility of bumping into Clarkson whilst we were there, Jon. The Cotswolds grow so much wheat and other cereal crops that it looked like Illinois yesterday! Hardly saw any sheep.

Very good compo, indeed. Like the shining leaves with the terracota and the stately manor behind.

It could almost be printed as a postcard... Love the framing of the manor...
With kind regards,
