The Lamp Shed

by bwlchmawr

Taken on bright morning last week in an old shed on the Somerset Levels. Goodness knows what these lamps are used for. K100D Super with Clubman 28mm MF lens.

Thanks Mac. The coloured version had a nice warm glow, but lacked impact.

2 early Tilley Lamps, and a couple of Coleman lamps.

The above are pressure lamps, The Tilleys run on Parrafin, and the Colemans on either Coleman fuel or unleaded petrol, there is also a gas lamp possibly Camping Gaz, and two old navigation lamps which are most likely oil burners!
The lamp with attached rope, I can't identify

Hope this is of use,

Kindest regards,

Peter

Interesting, like it; The sort of 'draws me in to see what else is in there' picture
The lamp lying on it's side looks like it could be one of those old lanterns that used to be on old fishing boats:
Best Regards, Larry.

All the gear & no idea.

The lamps I could ID have already been revealed.

Good early morning light & wonderful subject. The fact a couple of them are lying on their sides adds interest.

Regards, Ian.
