As ever, finding a good model is half the battle. This girl is very bright, and was a friend of an erstwhile lodger.

This is not the perfect portrait by any means but, for some reason, it leaves me full of intrigue! I want to know what the questions are in those eyes and on those lips. In that respect it is, for me at least, a very successful photo, and I love it!
