To support my earlier comments here is a very simple landscape that Andrew or Phil would turn into a masterpiece! For me though, it's just a simple landscape. How do they do it?

Nice composition, beautiful colours. I do like it.
First I would decrease the highlights. Then the lights and colours of the fields would be more balanced and the details of the clouds would come out.
