My hometown of New Liskeard Ontario (founded circa 1900AD) is named after the tin mining town of Liskeard in Cornwall. New Liskeard has recently been renamed Temiskaming Shores, breaking the Old/New World connection. Pity.

A lovely classical picture of this iconic scene. Looking at the Exif date and time I guess we were walking in each others footsteps that day and thanks for sharing your view. Sadly, it was my last annual visit Cornwall as other things in life just got in the way.
