You get some stunning shots down on the North Yorks Coast Carl. This is one of them. Its very dramatic, did you wait to a car to come along to back light it?
Will we see you one of these days at the Whitby Goths Festival?

Thanks David - Yes I did wait for a car to be in the right place - The tricky bit was getting the right wave at the same time as a car - several waves were just too big and the light did not penetrate through

Re Goth Fest - I have been going for a couple of years and bumped in to fatspider and bforbes (Alan and Barrie) at the last one (very enjoyable afternoon).

If you (or any other member in the North East) ever fancies meeting up on a weekend - just let me know - I am happy to drive anythng up to 80 miles or more from home (Knaresborough) for a day out with the gear on a weekend

I had checked the tide times in the morning - checked the met office to find out wind conditions, driven 65 miles and been there over 2 hours.

It's amazing how often I find myself in the right place at the right time - just dumb luck I guess.

Sorry David - couldn't resist and I am only teasing, there is of course always an element of luck
