A lovely sky, Trixie. The quoins make an interesting pattern too.

Thank you for your comments, I always appreciate any help and constructive comments, you haven't hurt my feelings I haven't ever done anything like this before so was just trying out a sunset, I agree with you and will try again when I get a chance at another sunset. I think your pic has some problems, .. first of them is lighting, .. hard to read into lower right corner, .. the other one is the horizon line bias; ..

Compositions is really good Trixie...FWIW my horizans always tended to slant but someone nagged me to death in a good way I like the colours you have got the tones right in the sky....Its a lot better than some of my attempts

I haven't even managed to get a sunset Trixie, so you've been given some good advise, well done on your first attempt.
