My first use of the SMC 17mm/f4 fish-eye lens on the K-1 II, and what did I learn from it? Keep yer darned fingers out of the way PJ!!
This shot of the delightful town of Sønderborg was taken on a recent visit to Denmark for a family wedding (I hate weddings!) and was shot from the 16th floor of our hotel. That floor is completely bare and exists purely to allow viewing of the vicinity.
Paul.

I think you should go closer to the edge Pauljay but not with ones eye glued in the viewfinder
Have fun with the 17mill, looking forward to the results

Thanks Flan! My wife was constantly goading me into going close to the edge but I don't do heights very well these days. This is not a lens I shall use very often but it is small enough to always have with me. I love the ready-made frame in this shot!

And very nicely framed it is indeed Pauljay.
I know that you know, that I was kidding.
The distortion can be quite disorienting however, when ones eye is in the viewfinder with very wide lenses and not something to be taken lightly for a cliff edge scene without caution
