That eye cost £6000.00 yes 6 grand on insurance. She had cataracts and had them removed and a new lens put in. Then she ran into a bush and damaged the other eye beyond repair. She didn't have a lot of luck. The photo was taken from some distance and is heavily cropped that's why it's not so sharp.

So very sorry for your friends loss, she's absolutely beautiful, such a shame, but he has a lovely picture to cherish
