Top notch. I think semi-backlit works well with butterflies - look how the wings glow. Nice to get in the garden as well. Saves carrying all those lenses around

Thanks Malc, in fact it's not that unusual as I do take and post a fair few insect and macro shots, although not many lately. If you have a look back through my gallery portfolio, you'll find quite a lot of these.This is different for you David
