You have spotted something worthwhile but easily overlooked. Well captured and presented.
Dare one ask what happened to the subject post capture (mine usually follow an airborne parabolic trajectory over the garden fence into the lane adjacent)?

I leave them be in the junk pile at the back of the garden. They only cop it if they go near the delphiniums (not a good idea).
