Donna - Selfie 2016: The Sequel

OK, here it is, the contemporary version of my recent post 'Donna - Selfie 1980'.
(Wasn't aiming to best the original, but instead set out to share a then and now photo)
If you must know, I was 24 yrs old in the 1980 pic.
Kept to the original pose but exercised creative license to change it up to suit the 'current me'.
I am not a studio photographer and concocted lighting out of our construction work lights. Haven't yet learned much since 1980 about using artificial lighting, but am perusing to learn it. Any advice or recommend resources, please share.
Will share at least one or two more from the shoot later. Oh, and yes, it does feel odd being in front of the camera lens!!!!!!!!

Amazing Donna. Its a beautiful image and a wonderful model.
On a photographic note this is a very accomplished portrait and your lighting seems very effect to me. Construction work lights could be the way forward for pro portrait photographers

A great shot, Donna, full of life, fun and vitality. The lighting's fine to my eyes: just enough modelling but no deep, unflattering shadows. Shows you don't need a lot of expensive studio lighting to create a beautiful portrait. A terrific effort.
