How do you find these things, AND photograph so well.

First I have to get out of the house and into a field, then i have to have patience, took four shots and this was the only one where i was happy with the focus ( telephoto lens about 4m from subject).

I think my biggest skill is actually observation and secondly a lot of practise with camera in hand
I think it also helps to go out with some idea of what subject matter you want to shoot. Good luck and thanks for the encouragement

I've tried getting out and I've been in fields as well but the wee beggers just fly away all the time.
