Wells
by pauljay
Wells, Somerset, the UK's fourth smallest city with a population of just over 10,000. I was there last week to seek out the three residences in which one of my ancestors, the black sheep of the family, lived during the 19th century, all of which were somewhat austere compared to other members of the family during that era. For such a small community the cathedral which gave Wells its city status is most impressive and can be seen in the background of this shot.

Used to go there many moons ago, before the camera got me unfortunately, so no pictorial memories, just remember how overpowering impressive the front of the Cathedral is. Thanks for the memories

Thought I recognised it! Nice one Paul. re the horizon, does your 'horizon' tool allow you to get the Cathedral tower vertically aligned? That might do the trick!

"The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE."
