An experiment that turned out better than expected. The watch was photographed on blank DVD and illuminated from above and slightly to the side using daylight balanced (6500K) spot lamps. The two shots, one of the watch and one of the mechanism, were then combined edited and combined in PSE. It's delightful, Jon. I like the colours of the DVD in the backgroud and the details of the watch.
