Just revisiting this and must say I would have expected a shallower DOF at f2.8 even at 40mm. Ah well...still learning this digi stuff.

All is about the time ... half hour isn't too much time for wedding photos ... OK, is better to have a few good photos than a lot of bad photos ... DA 40/2.8 XS would be an useful lens for wedding in the combination with a long trip during the day ...

and too, all is about people ... similar shots aren't possible to take with everybody ... especially in the short time
