Heavens, someone else has been to Portmeirion. I'm not saying this isn't a good black and white conversion but why black and white when there is so much colour there to be exploited? That sky is wonderful.

I really like your viewpoint and it works for me in B/W...but seeing it in colour could be good.
On a dark desert highway, cool Pentax K5 in my hand.

Brilliant photo. The dramatic power would have been lost in colour. B/W photography has so much to offer and can turn pleasant colour photos into something special and this shot proves it.
Spotmatic, Super Takumar 35mm f3.4, 55mm f1.8, 135mm f3.5.

I concur with pjharrison, that dramatic sky would be lost in colour. Good choice. And great framing! Really gothic.

Thanks for all your comments.

The reason it is Black and White is because I prefer to work in this medium. I have had more success with my b&w photos. I still do some colour work but much prefer b&w.
