Another Saturday, Another A4

Ex LNER 4-6-2 No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' is shown hurrying past Ilkeston (Derbys) en-route from London Victoria to York with a day trip on 21st December 2013.
Logic suggested a view-point from a footbridge on the opposite side of the line, but the wind direction risked the steam obscuring the view of the train.
Instead I went wrong-side as far as the sun was concerned (top right of shot) but I think I managed to rescue something with PhotoShop and got the advantage of the glint off the carriages.
A nod to JohnWhit as this sort of low viewpoint at track-side is, I think, in his style.
Note: I should add that I was on the correct side of the fence when taking this shot.

Andrew & Andy, I used my FA50 which always performs well and pre-focussed to what I thought would be the best spot. This was the last frame of a continuous burst.
Paul, with the angle of the sun, much colour is lost, so it almost may as well be LNER wartime black. That would be consistent with no side valences.
John, I hadn't noticed the shortage of NW steam, but has it been affected by electrification work on your patch?
