The night time pano was take from the lonely tower on the right. This was the night before; from in front of Sacre Coeur basilica. The amount of detail on the original picture is mind boggling. I complain about the weight of the K1 at times but then I come home and look at what it is capable of producing and I instantly 'forget'...until next time I get to carry it

Aw...sorry. It's very easy to indulge in it and act a bit selfish
And yeah lol...I know the general consensus seems to be that one is better off with a worse camera and a better lens...but in this case, I am really not so sure. On the bright side of things, photo tech seems to be moving forward very fast. Better and better gear is becoming affordable to more and more people. 2 years ago, if you told me I'd be snapping away with a full frame I'd call you crazy

Thank you both Fantastic detail and definitely agree with Paul!
I have never enjoyed taking photographs as much as I do now. Not sure why. And with that camera; I just keep wanting to experiment and see how far it can go. What it will allow me to do - within my limit of skill/knowledge of course; but I'm enjoying learning. Even more so from those pictures that never get shown to anyone

All the best,

P.S. The detail IS mind-blowing, especially when I looked at your larger image, and zoomed in on that. I think I saw someone watching I Love Lucy re-runs 8 miles away from the camera.
