Thanks a lot, Michael and thank you Guilio. I am glad that you liked this monochrome. To tell you the truth, the other one does also look good in mono, but I preferred it to be so because I like that colour contrast. I have many snow photos, I'll upload some in colour and some in mono. I keep saying the same thing, we should be able to upload versions of the same shot here as well. I need everyone to back me in this, then we may have power to persuade the admins.

Great shot, strong composition. As it was mentioned by Giulio and Jim, the contrast is perfect. I like the fine details that come out well in the enlarged view. I also like the curving tracks in the snow that is followed by the old man. I like it a lot, my friend.
