I like the positioning of the tower and the arrangement of the diagonal lines in this photo. You have handled the shadows and highlights well. Good photo.

looks like a movie scene from something like Metropolis or 1984 - amazing cold, dangerous atmosphere

I agree - great angle! has this view more recently been obscured by the hoardings for the neo bankside development? (probably I've just never been round this side of the building...)
