I like this Ian, although there looks to be something un-natural about the top part of the sky, and especially the cloud?

Yes, I'm not quite sure what was going on with the sky. There's a lighter horizontal band of blue above the horizon, before it then goes onto the darker blue, which is quite pronounced. The sky looked like this, though for whatever reason, there seems to be a rectangle of different coloured blue opposite the cloud. I'm experimenting with DxO Optics Pro 9 at the moment, so I wonder whether that has something to do with it?

Thanks for explanation - was tempted by DxO Optics Pro9 and their recent offer, but managed to resist it!

I couldn't resist it, but if I'm honest, I'm struggling to know what to do with it, other than leave it on automatic! It's good for automatically correcting vignetting, barrel distortion etc, but I can't help but feel it does a lot more than I've managed to get from it!

Well chosen angle and framing. Works for me.

Sometimes I'm serious and sometimes not, but I consider sarcasm an artform. Which is it today?
