Our local Zoo specialises in endangered species, especially from South America. These birds only breed by the Humboldt Current which is cold and slightly less salty.
The pink in the background comes from flamingoes.

Hi Sally. Lovely capture. If I may, I'd try a tighter crop at the top to put more emphasis on your great looking subject.
