A really dull day today without any sun, a little light would have helped methinks, so i tried my best without resorting to flash.
Hand held Tamron 70-300, which must be worn out by now.

It doesn't look worn out Maria. I find that sometimes the light like we had today is actually better than sunlight for taking pics outdoors.

Very good composition and good colours. I agree with Senn, today's lighting was ideal for outdoor close up photography, a nice diffused light with no glaring highlights from the leaves or petals. It's that dam breeze that I cannot cope with; as soon as I focus the subject is on the move again!
