Heron in the late sun

I know this is not the sharpest of captures, 70-300 was a little too short and he was over the other bank but i loved the light that the bird was standing in

IMHO this sharpness is right for that lovely atmosphere and moment of light.

"sharpness" is not a universal quality in photography, .. IMHO here the pretty relative "smoothness" enhances the dream effect of the image; .. what a beautiful moment of light and compo,; .. well done Maria
