Fallen II
Detail from waterfall at Hardcastle Crags. The leaf stem and leaf are not actually connected, but rather liked how they looked like they were.

Thanks all... Malc, the face of the waterfall is actually quite rough... lots of bits of rock and old plant matter stuck to it... bits of leaves, stems, twigs constantly get washed over it... 99% of them go straight down it, but every now and then one of them gets stuck... this is a photograph of those ones... there's also a very thin film of water which you can't really see trickling over the whole fall (the reason why it glistens), so I reckon surface tension probably has something to do with it too... lost one pair of specs and an nd filter getting close enough to take this... nice though...

Lovely detail and I like the double meaning of the title.

I like the way the water hits the rock on the left hand-side and the leaf and unattached stem appear to be growing from it, very clever work

Very good indeed, possibly better than the first one?
