The Clearing Storm
by davidstorm
Battered by first rain, then hail, then snow on the slopes of Mam Tor, near to Castleton in Derbyshire today, then suddenly the storm cleared from the west and the valley below towards the cement works at Castleton was bathed in dappled sunlight whilst the snow continued to fall beyond.
Sincere thanks to Drew (AndrewA) for organising today's day out in the Peak District and thanks also to everyone who attended. Conditions were difficult, but we all had a great day and got some fantastic shots.
K-5, DA 16-45, Polariser, Hitech ND Grad 0.6, Redsnapper Tripod, 70mph winds!
