This is a very interesting effect you have created with the light. I have been sat peering at it to try and work out the time of day, but then cheated & looked at the exif.
I like the glint just catching the front of the smokebox and funnel.

Thanks for your comments. Cedric, they have to run tender first in one direction on the Severn Valley Railway because there is no turntable. I just caught this as the train was already pulling out when I arrived at the station in Bridgnorth.
