Yes. And aren't we blessed to be the first generation for years not to have to fight for our country, Giulio? Let's hope our sons and grandchildren are similarly favoured. War is a wretched business that does nobody any good.

This a fabulous image, the treatment has given the appearance of what would have been a photographer's shot at the time
