Well done, very difficult year in much of UK for butterflies.
It was only this year in Greece that I discovered how good telephoto lenses (Pentax 55-300mm DA) are at such photography

Outstanding Image. I never seem to see these types of butterfly's around here. Wish I did. They are truly worth it.

Thank you all, I think another month or two might see them out a bit more, and of course it's having the right plant growing just outside the back door makes it easy for them to feed and me to photograph.
