I know I'm strange, but if you look at where the root forks there is a black dot which makes it look like some mystical creature reaching out with long spindly arms.

Thanks very much I was rather struck by the heavily tilted rocks on an earlier visit, the early twilight, fallen leaves and calm weather seemed an opportune moment to explore the idea further

Thank you very much Maria, I think having read a lot of David Ward's writings on 'inner landscapes' that I have become more and more fascinated with the intimate details of the landscape and to not always be too easily wooed by the big vistas.
