The Gloriette

The Gloriette was built by King John in the early 1200s as a new royal palace, it was constructed by the best craftsmen out of the finest Purbeck limestone, in the most up-to-date architectural style of the period. K10D + DA 16-50.

Lovely shot but I'm glad architectural style has chaged a bit; I like the idea of a roof!
