How do you frame the subject? Set it up and then add the filter? Or does live-view still manage to pull an image out of it all?

Thanks Maria.
Andy, set it up first, I was using a manual focus lens anyway but if using af you'd need to focus then switch to manual so it doesn't shift focus when filter is on. Also shoot In Manual mode as metering won't be anywhere near being right.
During middle of the day you're probably looking at f8 iso 100 and 20 ish sec exp
In the evening I was doing 1 min to 1 and a half mins. Trial and error really.
Thanks
Derek

Sorry - I prefer water that looks like water rather than soap
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Kinda difficult to freeze the water with an infrared filter on they're roughly equivalent to 10 stops
And definitely not everyone's cup of tea
Cheers
