Turmoil and the edge that is reason

I have been fascinated at some of the ICM work on here. Here's an example of the trigglehipple technique [shot at hip height with an anti clockwise fast thumb intervention]. Squigglemiggle, twiggleziggle, schmigglepiggle ......these are the technical terms for the hand movements and camera placements required. They have the depth of movement that is afforded to such treasures as Mudra or Tai Chi......important cultural stuff involved in ICM.....I'm serious.

Photography is so much fun isn't it

I love ICM and it's subsequent feel. Some ICM I've witnessed is amazingly profound and artistic. It is like painting with your camera.

There is a difference though in use of digital or film. Obviously digi you can see instantly and experiment. Film has a waiting phenomenon involved. Imagination is required with the taker whatever the medium. If you had a brush full of paint in your hand you would paint canvas....with a camera you paint air.
