I was just about to post a robin from yesterday, but I am to embarrassed by my offering now I have seen this, and three robin pics in a row might bring some abuse!
Ha ha Nigel, robins, robins and more robins well it is the time of year, thanks for the comment.
I don't think it's that far off from being perfect; love the black, white and greys set off by the orange. All it needs if being really picky, is some detail or spot on the eye.
Did I mention the composition and bokeh are great

It's a good shot. I'll be trying robins etc very soon now, and if I can get one like this I'll be happy.

Like this one and am sure we will see many more over the next month or two - haven't seen any around here yet this winter and made a complete hash of most attempts at them last year.

Thanks all, i'm hoping to get a better shot this year, maybe a bit sharper, but the dogs keep chasing them off.
