To put you out of your misery David it is the rear of the Heritage Centre in Southport. It looks very delapidated and uninhabited though.What on earth is it Jim? It's a very good photo but I am stumped as to what this build is or does?

Yes it is a Cafe Maria, the title of the shot comes from the menu pinned to the doorway which is boarded over, though you can't make out the writing at this size and resolution
