Santa Rosa Mts, CA
by pauljay
This shot was taken in the Santa Rosa Mountains region of California on October 21, 1989 using an SFX with an F35-70 lens. The film was Ektachrome 100. My films are scanned on the amazing value for money Epson V330 flatbed costing around €90!

Beautiful panorama of a more barren landscape than what is common up here in the North. I also scan my medium format films on an Epson flatbed, and I am mostly very content with the results. The Epson flatbed scanners are amazing value for what they do.

This shows just how good an image can be, its not always the quality of the DSLR and the lens its the subject and the way its been captured which in this case is absolutely stunning.
