Apt demonstration of small DOF in macro.

I've been really struggling with the 100mm macro lens to be honest, it's taking a lot of practice to get to grips with...
No idea how people manage to get shots of moving insects, cos I'm struggling with flowers in a slight breeze!!
I'm starting slow, with inanimate objects for the most part (working in a gallery has its upsides) and at 2.8 I'm getting fairly awful results as the DoF is just too thin for me to get focus on anything. This was at 5.6 and would probably have been better at f8 with a bump in ISO...
