I've re-visited an image shot earlier this year with the K-m and DA L 55-300mm and re-processed the RAW file. I think this is better than when I first uploaded it.

superb details with the head, David, .. colours are pretty genuine like, .. usually I'm not fond of center weighed framing but admittedly it works marvelously well with this ..

Rather sharp eh? Considering the Ostrich shot next door was taken with a DA*300, just more evidence again what a tremendous bargain performer the DAL55-300 is.
