Well Stuey, it's Wales on a sunny day in late spring, so, yes, the colours are pretty good. Pentax 28mm 3.5 lens and K10 CCD sensor as well. Enough said.

Boy, you're doing that lens justice Andrew! Is it my imagination or do the shots taken with it have more impact than those shot with your other similar lenses?
It certainly seems to be working for you.
Regards the image, I love the starkness of the light and the sparse composition - these elements work great with the contrasty BW conversion.

I owned (still own, actually) a Ricoh 500G 35mm rangefinder with a fixed 40mm lens. I used it for years and got used to the field of view. When digital happened I acquired through the good offices of Ebay a number of 28mm lenses (which equate to 42mm) on a cropped sensor. But although I've got some good ones, this tiny Pentax 3.5 (lost beneath the pentaprism of my K10) seems to be the best of the lot and I've only really used it for one outing. Boy, you're doing that lens justice Andrew! Is it my imagination or do the shots taken with it have more impact than those shot with your other similar lenses?
