Came across this scene in Daymer Bay, North Cornwall. First light. Very long exposure.

Super dooper long exposure, works in colour too when my first instinct would have been mono. Excellent work
Polzeath reminds me of those bloody Cornish tight single roads, no place for a 5 dr saloon it still bears the scars

Sean, funnily enough I did try this first in black and white... but ended up preferring this version due to the slightly other-worldly colours around at the time (purple storm clouds, crimson rock, blue/green sea)...

Thanks for this... I tend to shoot in low light... The hour before, and the hour after sunrise/sunset... Which means that the pictures I take often (though not always) naturally tend towards long exposures... This picture was taken with an nd 10, but that's pretty extreme for this time of day... I generally use a 3 stop filter, sometimes a 6, and often nothing at all... Hope that's useful...
