Next time, set F to 22 or so and you will get a pretty nice star effect of the sun.
Takes some trial and error to get the star effect you like but it will really boost the photo.

I was going to link u a photo of mine that showed an example but I seem to have erased thet from my portfolio.

Thanks Draken,
When I get my K5 I will certainly try stopping down as you suggest. Good advice that! In the meantime, I will continue with the limitations of my c***n point and shoot.
