Trees & Sneak View
by davidstorm
Shot in beautiful late afternoon Winter sunlight which cast a warm glow across the whole landscape. I feel that the main features of this picture are the trees in the foreground, the log on the ground and the light dusting of snow between the dried grasses. The view through the trees to the hills beyond is a bonus.

REALLY has to be viewed large.
Then it works very nicely.

Love the view through the trees and the fallen tree in the foreground, a lovely shot.

Thanks to all my friends on the PU Gallery for your comments on my picture. I'm not sure if I could bring myself to convert this one to BW as I like the colours in it so much.

I do agree with you David, lovely colours!
I like it, it's a great shot and PP work nevertheless I think I agree with Giulio, when he says that your previous one catches the eye even more.

Hi Nelson - thanks for your kind comments. I also like the first one, but in this one the trees are more prominent and I like the way the light has fallen on them. There is not much PP on this picture, it came out of the camera almost like this - just a bit of levels enhancement and sharpening.

I like the both shot. The colours and the details are nice.
