A reminder of the history

An old boot scraper outside an ancient building in Corfu Town, a place that flourished under Veneitian rule. It is a survivor and a reminder of times past when donkey tracks were more common than paved streets.

That it has survived some sort of modern(?) paving around it is remarkable too. It might be a mundane subject but it's full of interest.

Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
