Lovely shot and light on her face, a beautiful model.

Hmmm... quite a nice shot, but I'll tell you what doesn't work for me here: focus and light. The focus isn't right, you have to have the eyes tack sharp, and here the focus is somewhere else, it's shifted to roughly where her ears might be, it's not on her face. It happens to me quite often, too, with my Tamron 17-50. And the light could have been more diffused, for me it's too visible in the face. I have very limited experience with portraits, so who am I to judge?, but I did notice these details. How did you fire the flash, at 1/250 sec? Other than these two things, I like the picture - nice model, good framing, nicely blurred background.

Ha!!! Yes I know the pin is awful and I've told her many times but my plees fall on deaf ears
Slovak
Thanks for you observations and comments, I had a big lens on and not so steady hands I was using the flash in HSS mode hence the 1/250 flash sync speed, this was the first outing with the K5 and Metz 58-2 wich was camera mounted so I knew I wouldn't get the best lighting .
BTW, Nikola is Slovakian too
