Thirds

by GIULIO57

Yesterday afternoon. After a few weeks of high temperatures it has been possible to exit for taking a few pictures. At south of Siena I took several pictures about this scenery: landscape and portrait format. I have choosen land format. Colors, shapes and several straw bales as actors on the stage. A minimalist compo following rule of thirds. PENTAX K 20D and PENTAX lens 55-300 (polarizing filter). Tripod.

Colors look Is too harsh watching at this picture in my smartphone....but It Is not so through the monitor of my computer where I edited this picture. Polarizing filtro helped me in recovering more colors and did the best to get a solid blu sky. Red and Orange came out . Too much? Perhaps the hour of day , that light...pushed Red and Orange. By the way: this Is the underexposed file. Thx for your cmt.

I have no negative thoughts on this one Giulio...just think it is another in a series of dramatic eye-catchers that evidence your skills both in shooting and processing images. Subject matter is gorgeous.
